About The Position

Support the Treasury Management team by providing quantitative and analytical insights, including scenario analysis and liquidity testing, to strengthen financial risk preparedness, enhance decision-making, and contribute to the overall effectiveness and development of the treasury function.

Requirements

Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Strong communication skills
Currently enrolled in a university, majoring in Finance or Accounting or Economics or related field.
Excellent written skills to be able to document technical specs and system design
General understanding of finance and economic concepts

Responsibilities

Provide assistance on ALM model analysis and reporting, including development and documentation of model assumptions, review and validation of ALM results, and production of ALM reports.
Assist with treasury transactions such as federal funds sold, fixed-income securities, foreign exchange, interest rate swaps, and reciprocal deposits.
Run Daily Foreign Exchange Rate Report.
Prepare materials for ALCO and Deposit Committee meetings.
Prepare various reports for managing the liquidity and interest rate risks of the Bank.
Provide market and economic research and analysis.
Provide assistance in managing department policies, procedures, and other materials.
Stay current on all compliance-related laws, regulations, and policies.
Assist with ad hoc projects/analysis.
Oversee and execute a departmental research initiative focused on identifying operational inefficiencies, recommending actionable solutions, and contributing to cost reduction and organizational profitability.
Engage in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training programs, to strengthen competencies and support career advancement.
