About The Position

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Accounting & Finance Intern (full-time summer, 40 hours per week; part-time school year, 15-20 hours per week). This position will be in Rolla, MO. The Accounting/Finance Intern will support both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This individual will maintain organized and accurate financial records and provide analytical and administrative support to the Finance team, including assisting the Funding Analyst position as needed.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordinating global Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
Provide support for the Funding Analyst role and assist with other analytical and finance-related responsibilities as needed.
Perform Accounts Payable duties including opening daily mail, scanning invoices, filing documents, reviewing unmatched purchase order reports, closing purchase orders when appropriate, and completing other assigned tasks.
Perform Accounts Receivable duties including processing daily invoices, entering daily receipts into the accounting system, reconciling daily bank reports, and completing other assigned tasks.
Assist with the month-end close process for all global companies to help ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in Brewer Science, Inc. internship program activities.
