About The Position
Strategic Growth Partners provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance & Accounting Associate to support the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and business finance processes. This position requires the person to be in the Redwood City office 3 days a week.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate accounts payable and vendor payments.
- Support financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Coordinate with sales and finance teams for timely collections.
- Monitor overdue invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
- Support finance leadership with reporting and operational coordination.
- Assist with presentations and internal communications.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and service providers.
