About The Position

The Final Table Operator visually inspects the pipe/casing and takes micrometer and pi tape readings to ensure the pipe/casing is within our set tolerance. They will also work alongside the EMI operator to properly mark any EMI indications to be sent to prove up area. The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent education
• 0 years of experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc.
• Must be able to safely lift and load 50lbs
• Must be able to work outside in a variety of conditions
• Candidates must be able to tolerate any climate

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect pipe for trim issues or cosmetic issues
• Check pipe straightness
• Take size readings using micrometer and pi tape
• Mark any reject or rework pipe according to color code
• Ensure traceability information is correct and legible
• Ensure coil stamp is legible
