About The Position

The Final Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring finished goods meet quality specifications and packaging requirements. This role involves visually inspecting a random sampling of finished parts, identifying and documenting non-conforming issues, and communicating defects to the appropriate departments. The auditor will maintain accurate quality documentation, interpret work instructions, and contribute to process improvement ideas. Additionally, the position may involve secondary operational activities such as reworking non-conforming products and weigh counting, as well as performing other related duties to support departmental and organizational efficiency.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment (i.e. injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming).

Responsibilities

• Perform auditing and inspection of finished goods for compliance with quality specifications and packaging requirements.
• Visually inspect a random sampling of finished parts, including quality specifications, packaging, labeling, and pallet design.
• Identify non-conforming issues and properly document, quarantine, and communicate defects for further disposition, including root cause and corrective action.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Interpret and follow work instructions; provide process improvement ideas related to the final quality work area.
• Perform secondary operational activities, such as reworking non-conforming products and weigh counting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and organization.
• May be required to perform additional tasks within the scope of the role to meet business needs, provided such tasks are consistent with the employee’s skills and training.
