About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Final Punch Technician to join our Fibrebond team in Minden, LA! You will work an average of 54 hours per week (including OT) between 6 am - 4:30 pm, M-F. There is overtime every other Saturday from 6 am - 2:30 pm. The hourly range for this position is $16.50-$18.17 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to ascend, descend, and work from a ladder when inspecting and repairing buildings with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and seasonal temperatures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect exterior of buildings for defects which includes checking for general damage and correct installation of the exterior components.
  • Inspect interior of buildings for defects which includes checking for loos bolts, screws, paint, general damage, and correct installation of interior and exterior finishes.
  • Arrange for defects or damage to be repaired including aggregate, door hardware, paint, waveguides, and air-conditioners.
  • Clean all surfaces of interior and exteriors of the building.
  • Ensure the overall appearance of the building is presentable for the customer prior to shipment.
  • Prepare (packs) of miscellaneous materials and parts for shipping.
