About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories such as furniture and home goods. Contractors can earn between $40,000 and $100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. High demand is currently noted for basketball hoop installations, fitness equipment assembly, and fitness equipment repair.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Be physically capable and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Be tech-savvy to utilize mobile applications for order completion.
Provide and maintain the necessary tools and vehicle(s) for completing orders.
Possess an EIN.
Comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Experience with basketball hoop installation.
Experience with fitness equipment assembly.
Experience with fitness equipment repair.

Responsibilities

Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most assignments.
Own or lease a van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
Obtain an EIN and comply with DOT regulations (MC# may be required for interstate work).
Maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Accept jobs that align with the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only tasks (one-person job): Arrive at the customer's home and assemble the product on-site.
Perform Delivery and Assembly tasks (two-person team): Pick up products from a local retailer, deliver to the customer's home, and assemble according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform Repair tasks (one-person job): Arrive at the customer's home and repair according to manufacturer instructions using manufacturer-provided parts.
Service various products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, etc.), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, etc.).
