About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories such as furniture, home goods, and seasonal items. Contractors can earn $40,000–$100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept only the jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. High demand is currently noted for basketball hoop installations and fitness equipment assembly and repair.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
• Be tech-savvy to use mobile applications for completing orders.
• Provide and maintain tools and vehicle(s) used for completing orders.
• Have an EIN.
• Comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
• Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Nice To Haves

• Two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most work.
• Own/lease van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly only and repair work).
• EIN + DOT compliance (MC# required for some interstate work).
• COI that meets AIT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most assignments.
• Provide and maintain a van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
• Ensure EIN and DOT compliance (MC# may be required for interstate work).
• Obtain and maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
• Accept jobs that align with the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
• Perform Assembly Only tasks (one-person job): Arrive at the customer's home and assemble the product on-site.
• Perform Delivery and Assembly tasks (two-person team): Pick up from a local retailer, deliver to the customer's home, and assemble to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform Repair tasks (one-person job): Arrive at the customer's home and repair according to manufacturer instructions using manufacturer-provided parts.
• Service products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
