About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories such as furniture, home goods, and seasonal items. Contractors can earn $40,000–$100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept only the jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. High demand is currently noted for basketball hoop installations, fitness equipment assembly, and fitness equipment repair.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Be physically capable and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Be tech-savvy to utilize mobile applications for order completion.
Provide and maintain the necessary tools and vehicle(s) for completing orders.
Possess an EIN.
Comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Responsibilities

Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most assignments.
Provide and maintain a van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
Obtain and maintain an EIN and comply with DOT regulations (MC# may be required for interstate work).
Secure and maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT's requirements.
Accept jobs that align with the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only tasks (one-person job) by assembling products on-site at the customer's home.
Complete Delivery and Assembly tasks (two-person team) by picking up products from local retailers, delivering them to the customer's home, and assembling them to manufacturer specifications.
Conduct Repair tasks (one-person job) by arriving at the customer's home and performing repairs according to manufacturer instructions using provided parts.
Service a variety of products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
