About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for delivery, assembly, and repair of various products. This includes basketball hoops (portable & in-ground), fitness equipment, ready-to-assemble furniture, home goods, and backyard products. Contractors have the flexibility to accept jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. Opportunities exist for two-person teams (Driver + Helper) for delivery and assembly, and one-person roles for assembly-only and repair services. Weekly settlements are provided, with annual earnings ranging from $40,000 to $100,000+ depending on location and accepted work.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Be tech-savvy to use mobile applications for completing orders.
Provide and maintain the necessary tools and vehicle(s) for completing orders.
Possess an EIN.
Comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Responsibilities

Act as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most delivery and assembly tasks.
Own or lease a suitable vehicle such as a pickup truck, van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
Ensure EIN and DOT compliance, including an MC# for some interstate work.
Maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Accept jobs that match the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only tasks (one-person job) by arriving at the customer's home and assembling the product on-site.
Perform Delivery and Assembly tasks (two-person team) by picking up from a local retailer, delivering to the customer's home, and assembling to manufacturer specifications.
Perform Repair tasks (one-person job) by arriving at the customer's home and repairing according to manufacturer instructions using manufacturer-provided parts.
Service products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
