About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is growing its Final Mile Service Provider Network and is looking for reliable contractor teams to support strong customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation (portable & in-ground) and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist across other final-mile categories, including furniture, home goods, and seasonal items. Contractors can earn $40,000–$100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. High demand exists for basketball hoop installs, fitness equipment assembly, and fitness equipment repair. Contractors can choose to accept only the jobs they are equipped and qualified to complete.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Must be tech-savvy to use mobile applications to complete orders.
Must provide and maintain tools and vehicle(s) used to complete orders.
Must have an EIN.
Must comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Must pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Nice To Haves

Two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most work.
Own/lease pick up, van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly only and repair work).
EIN + DOT compliance (MC# required for some interstate work).
COI that meets AIT requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most work.
Own or lease a pickup truck, van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only and repair work).
Ensure EIN and DOT compliance (MC# required for some interstate work).
Maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Accept jobs that match the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only services (one-person work) by arriving at the customer's home and assembling the product on-site.
Perform Delivery and Assembly services (two-person team) by picking up from a local retailer, delivering to the customer's home, and assembling to manufacturer specifications.
Perform Repair services (one-person work) by arriving at the customer's home and repairing according to manufacturer instructions using manufacturer-provided parts.
Service products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
