About The Position
This role involves visually inspecting aerospace parts to ensure they meet quality and engineering standards. The inspector will use precision measurement equipment and devices, ensuring their proper operation. Additionally, finishing operations may be performed to meet customer requirements. The position also requires ensuring proper documentation, including fine print details on product certifications, and maintaining accurate records for all tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Ability to discern colors with vision acuity of 20/20 (correction allowed)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical and analytical ability
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Physically able to stand 8hrs or sit 8hrs, with or without accommodation
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. person under relevant regulations.
