About The Position

Inspect product for defects, ensuring quality before product is shipped. This role involves detailed inspection of furniture, checking for various quality issues, and preparing the product for shipment.

Requirements

• Able to read route sheets.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous inspection experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspect furniture, placing on lift if necessary.
• Check ticket for proper information and instructions.
• Remove all loose strings.
• Use air hose to blow cotton fragments off of piece if necessary.
• Clean soiled areas using proper cleaner to remove any marks.
• Check for bad stitching or seams.
• Check for too small or large welt.
• Check for flaws in fabric or scars in material.
• Check for proper cushion fit and proper fabric match.
• Steam out wrinkles where needed.
• Place deck labels and proper hang tag in each piece.
