About The Position

This role involves conducting specialized inspection and material testing across manufacturing processes and receiving inspection. The Final Inspector will also perform performance testing across manufacturing and engineering processes and may support inspection during all phases of production using knowledge of company products and process flow. This position will initiate and aid in the investigation of non-conformance issues, verify non-conformance, and produce all necessary measurements and specifications for the MRB board. Additionally, the role involves assisting with training new operators on correct product terminology and measuring tools and techniques, and mentoring operators in exceptional quality and the importance of producing quality parts. The Final Inspector will also assist with and complete validations as needed, participate in continuous improvement projects and ideas to enhance processes, and assist with rework as needed. Additional responsibilities may be requested to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to perform and prioritize many tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient computer, math, and reading skills
  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day
  • Must be able to work with small parts for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient knowledge of measuring equipment such as microscopes or comparators
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints
