Requirements
- Inspection and furniture experience required (minimum 2+ years)
- Effective communication skills, detail oriented, and organizational skills
- PC skills, AS 400 knowledge
- Able to stand for 10 hours
- Able to lift, handle, carry 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient and orderly flow of product from final inspection to shipping.
- Handling furniture, examining production per specification, doing some repairs, and working with co-workers and management to solve quality issues.
- Inspecting upholstery finished product for accuracy including but not limited to style number, finished nail application, sectionals for “fit”, and sew seams line up.
- Applying appropriate deck labels, scanning tickets, and cross-checking law labels.
- Inspect sewing details and overall tailoring of finished product.
- Identify quality issues and report to manager.
- All other duties as assigned.
