About The Position

The Final Assembly Supervisor is responsible for meeting and exceeding all manufacturing production goals within the Final Assembly department. This role involves guiding the team, leading department meetings, and fostering a culture of cooperation and cohesiveness. The supervisor will identify inefficiencies, contribute to continuous improvement, and implement solutions. Key duties include timesheet approval, conducting annual reviews, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing training and development opportunities. The position also requires close collaboration with Order Fulfillment, Floor Supervisor, Production Center Manager, Purchasing, and Engineering teams. The supervisor is expected to take on new tasks as the company grows and to support overall company goals through teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed all manufacturing production goals.
  • Guide the team to focus on key priorities.
  • Lead department meetings.
  • Maintain a culture of cooperation and cohesiveness.
  • Identify inefficiencies, contribute to continuous improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Approve timesheets of Direct Reports.
  • Work closely with Order Fulfillment, Floor Supervisor, and Production Center Manager to ensure successful operations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct annual reviews of direct team.
  • Ensure team is following all safety protocols during operations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to both full-time and seasonal team members in best practices.
  • Take on new tasks as needed as the company grows rapidly.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing and Engineering teams on a regular basis.
  • Provide support and assistance in achieving the overall goals and objectives of SurePoint Ag through collaboration, teamwork and communication.
