About The Position

Minerals Technologies Inc. is a global, technology-driven specialty minerals company. CETCO Energy Services, a Minerals Technologies Company, provides treatment for problematic fluids and measuring well performance. This position is responsible for leading a single work team throughout the Filtration service delivery process, acting as a shift leader and mentoring lower-ranking staff. The role requires understanding engineering documents, operating field equipment, managing teams onshore and offshore, and performing manual labor. Safety is a top priority, and the role involves working in industrial environments, including offshore sites, with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and high temperatures. The company emphasizes sustainable improvement processes and core values.

Requirements

  • +2 years of field experience with ES or comparable service provider that provides treatment of problematic fluids and measuring well performance.
  • Practical experience with filtration systems, fluid analysis equipment, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and associated Windows operating systems.
  • Eligible to work in US, hold a TWIC card, and valid US drivers license.
  • Strong Organization skills/logistical skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Competence Assessment System, QMTC-4032.10.
  • Safety Training: In adherence with QMTC-4032.10 which includes Water Survival.

Responsibilities

  • Lead single work team throughout the Filtration service delivery process.
  • Act as shift leader, taking direction from superior work authorities.
  • Understand P&ID, Safe Charts, Data Sheets, and other engineering documents.
  • Operate and diagnose field equipment.
  • Ad hoc manage a team onshore and offshore to achieve varying objectives.
  • Direct and operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Act as mentor in association with SSE program, QMTC-4032.01.
  • Perform manual labor including painting, handling, assembly, and disassembly as required.
  • Maintain a fit for duty status at all times, including having appropriate PPE, Offshore Bag, and Computer.
  • Remain alert and attentive in safety-sensitive environments.
  • Perform essential job functions safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work with safety as a top priority to minimize accidents and incidents.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-manage deadlines and actions as assigned.
  • Maintain productivity of team and self at 70% annual rate.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Attend all OE training as it is deployed by the OE team.
  • Meet suggestion requirements per year.
  • Perform GEMBA walk daily.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, good discipline and respect for peers and superiors in association with MTI core values.
