Requirements
- Enrolled as a student at Augsburg University
- Work-study eligible
- Working knowledge of film cameras, video cameras, DSLR cameras, audio equipment, lighting gear, computers, and the Premiere Pro software package
- Highly responsible, detail driven, and self-motivated
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow established protocol
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management, maintenance, and use of film and new media equipment
- Respond to the needs of faculty and students in the film, new media, and graphic design programs
- Follow a consistent protocol for equipment use
- Check out and check in film, new media, and design equipment
- Ensure proper use and care of the equipment during class and out of class (as requested)
- Monitor the editing suites
- Provide technical assistance to those using the equipment when possible
- Work on special projects
