About The Position
The Filling Technician I role involves the filling of insulin and media preparations under aseptic conditions and the operation of inspection equipment to achieve production goals. Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with over 100 years of experience, leading the way in diabetes care. The Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM) facility in Clayton, NC, is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience required (Requirement may be waived with military experience, a BioWorks/BioBlend certification or equivalent from an accredited college, or a current Novo Nordisk contractor that has 3 months of demonstrated performance in the relevant area)
- Ability to read, write & understand complicated product documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to detail required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment preferred
- Aseptic processing experience preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
Responsibilities
- Filling of insulin & media preparations under aseptic conditions
- Operation of inspection equipment to achieve production goals
- Operate, monitor & control equipment, systems & processes associated with Vial/Cartridge filling
- Achieve production goals
- Maintain aseptic areas & perform sanitizations & environmental monitoring
- Participate actively in & support event response
- Review documents as required
- Assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive & preventative maintenance
- Record/review production data in BPR’s & associated forms
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
