About The Position

This position involves working on the fillet line, utilizing knives to debone chicken front halves. Responsibilities include grading and packing product into trays or bulk, ensuring it meets product specifications. The role also requires salvaging techniques to separate damaged or substandard chicken parts. The shift is from 1 AM to 9:30 AM with overtime available.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8-10 hrs) on a concrete/metal grate floor
  • Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors
  • Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken
  • Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs required

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knives to debone front halves
  • Identify and pack product into trays or bulk product codes that meets product specifications
  • Utilize salvaging techniques to separate bruised, damaged, mis-cut or diseased chicken/chicken parts
  • Rotation into all positions on the fillet line is required
