This is a fulltime night shift position working on a consistent 6:45 pm - 7:00 am rotating schedule. The role involves operating and monitoring production filler equipment to ensure food safety, product quality, and conformity to customer standards and specifications. The position requires safely and efficiently setting up, operating, and cleaning filler machines/equipment, performing basic clean, inspect, and lube functions, and participating in line equipment operations including clearing jams and reporting malfunctions. The Filler Operator will also perform changeovers, line clears, and accurately set up packaging and coding for the next item. Reporting out-of-standard results, completing documentation, maintaining work logs, and monitoring inventory and production levels are key responsibilities. The role also includes maintaining a clean work area, participating in shift exchanges and team meetings, and meeting production goals while minimizing product shrink and downtime. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is essential, as is the ability to work with dairy, nut products, and other allergens. Safety protocols must be followed, including stopping unsafe acts, obeying safety rules, and reporting hazards.
