This is a 6am-6:30pm position on a 2-2-3 rotation. C Crew. The Filler Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production filler equipment to ensure food safety, product quality, and conformity to customer standards and specifications. This role involves safely and efficiently setting up, operating, and cleaning filler machines/equipment, and being proficient in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) and/or Clean-in-Place (CIP) operations. The operator will also perform basic clean, inspect, and lube functions, including basic Preventative Maintenance (PMs), and actively participate in startup, troubleshooting, adjustment, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment, clearing jams and reporting malfunctions. Changeovers and line clears are also a key responsibility, along with accurately setting up next item's packaging and coding. Reporting out-of-standard/specification results to the Quality Department and Supervisor, completing documentation accurately, and maintaining work logs and inventory records are essential. The role requires monitoring inventory and production levels for efficiency, maintaining a clean work area, and actively participating in shift exchanges and team meetings, all while striving to minimize product shrink and downtime and reporting unsafe conditions.
