Requirements

  • Proficiency in overseeing and supervising the Fill Plant Division.
  • Ensuring compliance with FDA and DOT requirements.
  • Conducting audits to maintain regulatory standards.
  • Strong communication skills for training personnel on safe equipment use and conducting safety meetings.
  • A keen eye for detail to review and approve all documentation related to medical oxygen filling.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Experience with Liquid Oxygen Fill Plant operations is a must.
  • Liquid Oxygen Fill Plant experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to FDA, DOT, OSHA, and company regulations regarding the filling of medical oxygen cylinders.
  • Overseeing the review and approval of all documentation related to the production of compressed and liquefied oxygen.
  • Conducting routine equipment maintenance.
  • Training for the fill plant team.
  • Leading weekly safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and compliance among fill plant personnel.
  • Supervising the Fill Plant Division Staff.
  • Oversee and Supervise the Fill Plant Division.
  • Train all personnel on the safe use of all oxygen filling equipment initially and annually.
  • Ensure that all FDA and DOT requirements are met on a daily basis.
  • Perform audits on fill plant personnel to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Review and release all documentation involved in the filling of medical oxygen.
  • Reject any component that does not met the requirements of FDA, DOT and HME filling procedures.
  • Promote safe, effective and organized environments.
  • Participate in on-going education including in-services training and other activities to maintain and improve individual competence.
  • Audit all paperwork completed by Cylinder Fillers and Patient Service Technicians on a daily basis.
  • Conduct morning safety tailgate meetings with all fillers and liquid delivery personnel daily.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints appropriate to scope of practice.
  • Ensure that routine maintenance is performed on all filling equipment.
  • Complete required annual and monthly training courses.
  • Perform other duties or special projects when necessary.
