Requirements

  • Proficiency in overseeing and supervising the Fill Plant Division
  • Ensuring compliance with FDA and DOT requirements
  • Conducting audits to maintain regulatory standards
  • Strong communication skills for training personnel on safe equipment use and conducting safety meetings
  • Keen eye for detail to review and approve all documentation related to medical oxygen filling
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Experience with Liquid Oxygen Fill Plant operations is a must
  • Participating in ongoing education and training

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and Supervise the Fill Plant Division.
  • Train all personnel on the safe use of all oxygen filling equipment initially and annually.
  • Ensure that all FDA and DOT requirements are met on a daily basis.
  • Perform audits on fill plant personnel to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Review and release all documentation involved in the filling of medical oxygen.
  • Reject any component that does not met the requirements of FDA DOT and HME filling procedures.
  • Promote safe, effective and organized environments.
  • Participate in on-going education including in-services training and other activities to maintain and improve individual competence.
  • Audit all paperwork completed by Cylinder Fillers and Patient Service Technicians on a daily basis.
  • Conduct morning safety tailgate meetings with all fillers and liquid delivery personnel daily.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints appropriate to scope of practice
  • Ensure that routine maintenance is performed on all filling equipment
  • Complete required annual and monthly training courses.
  • Perform other duties or special projects when necessary.
