About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking a Part-Time File Maintenance Clerk to join our Agro location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. This role operates within a co-operative structure built on honesty, innovation, responsibility, and respect. The position involves supporting accounting operations, maintaining POS systems, assisting with inventory, and ensuring adherence to safety and asset protection policies. The goal is to deliver exceptional experiences for members and guests while strengthening communities and reinvesting in sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Point-of-sale system experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including manual labour during inventory counts, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, kneeling, and crouching; work is primarily in an office environment with exposure to shop and warehouse areas.
  • Able to obtain WHMIS and TDG certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Complete invoicing and related documentation to support location accounting operations.
  • Maintain price list and product information accuracy in the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Support inventory processes and stock-taking initiatives by tracking adjustments and reconciling discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
  • Support daily end-of-day procedures, cash ups, and completion of required daily reports.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
