About The Position

Seneca provides in-depth fieldwork placement and training opportunities for MSW, MFT, and PCC interns in the Central Coast. Graduate Fieldwork Placements follow a standard school year schedule, beginning in the fall and ending in the spring/summer. Internships require a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week, with some placements requiring 20-24 hours per week or being restricted to final-year students. Exact schedules are determined with the supervising clinician based on student availability and program needs. Students are asked to assist in providing a healthy transition into and out of the lives of the children and families served.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a clinical graduate program.
  • Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
  • Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.
  • Must complete the Fieldwork Matching Form and attach it to your online application.
  • If applicable, upload your University Practicum/Internship/Fieldwork Manual to your UKG profile.

  • Advanced students who already have some exposure to clinical populations and direct work with clients.
