In Southern California, Seneca provides in-depth fieldwork placement and training opportunities for MSW, MFT, and PCC interns. Graduate Fieldwork Placements follow a standard school year schedule beginning in the fall and ending in the spring/summer. Internships require a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week, and certain placements may require 20-24 hours per week or be restricted to final-year students. Exact schedules are decided on with the supervising clinician according to the students’ availability and the program’s needs. Due to the sensitive needs of the kids and families we serve, we ask that students assist in providing a healthy transition into and out of our kids and families lives.
