About The Position

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the quality and quantity of orders, identifying stock discrepancies, and assisting in the efficient organization of the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience working with Inventory analysis
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and be submitted to a Motorized Vehicle Report
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

  • Solar or relevant experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
  • Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
  • Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
  • Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
  • Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
  • Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
  • Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
  • Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
  • Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
  • Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.
