Solar Warehouse Technician
About The Position
Southern Energy Management (SEM) is seeking a full-time Warehouse Technician to support our Solar Installation Field team/ Tech Support Team & Commercial team by tracking / preparing and loading materials. Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- General construction knowledge and/or experience along with the ability to use hand tools (drills, saws, drivers).
Nice To Haves
- Solar or relevant experience is preferred
- A four-year degree in a relevant electrical/renewable energy field is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and load projects for Solar installation teams
- Select components to fulfill bills of material
- Accurately track and support cycle counts of inventory
- Maintain Cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Operate forklift & pallet jack to unload and load palletized material
