Field Tester I - Contract
About The Position
This position is a W2 contract employee role with ASI for a defined project period, offering the stability of W2 employment along with access to benefits while you support our autonomous technology programs. As a contract employee, you'll work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment alongside engineers and product teams to help advance practical robotics solutions in the field. Field Tester I primarily focuses on physical vehicle testing in controlled test environments and off-site locations. All levels require individuals who are mentally and physically comfortable learning how to operate and test construction/heavy equipment during a two-week on-site ramp-up period.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Execute manual test plans on autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.
- Operate and control heavy equipment and test vehicles under various conditions.
- Work closely with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases.
- Identify, document, and report defects using JIRA and Jama (bug tracking tools).
- Collect and analyze test data to validate system functionality.
- Assist in on-site and off-site testing, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Regularly lift and carry test equipment as needed.
