About The Position

SONIFI is seeking a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role involves resolving technical issues, providing support and guidance to customers on SONIFI products, and ensuring a great customer experience. The technician will be the face of the organization, working directly with hospitality and healthcare clients. This is a field-based position with no desk work, and the company provides a vehicle, tools, cell phone, and laptop.

Requirements

Technical degree plus ONE year of related experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
OR High School Diploma or GED plus THREE years’ work experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

Resolve technical issues for customers in the assigned region.
Provide support and guidance on SONIFI products.
Ensure a great customer experience through thoughtful and professional communication.
Understand and respect the boundaries, protocols, and empathy needed in healthcare customer environments.
Adapt to changing customer priorities and requests.
Perform occasional travel outside of the assigned region.
Be available for on-call duties.
Work occasional overtime and weekends to accommodate service level agreements.
