About The Position

SONIFI is seeking a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Maui, HI area. This role involves resolving technical issues, providing support and guidance to customers on SONIFI products, and working independently. The technician will be the face of the organization, interacting with staff at hospitality customers and understanding the protocols in healthcare environments. The job is field-based with no desk work, and the company provides a vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support.

Requirements

• Technical degree plus ONE year of related experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
• OR High School Diploma or GED plus THREE years’ work experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong desire to resolve technical issues.
• Ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues for SONIFI products.

• Perform occasional travel outside of the assigned region.
• Be available for on-call duties.
• Work occasional overtime and weekends to meet service level agreements.
