RION Equipment is looking for a Field Technician to perform field service and repairs on customer forklift and material handling equipment. You will primarily be working independently driving a company-provided service truck to the customer’s place of operations, but you’ll always have the support of the entire RION Equipment team. Requirements

  • Ability to perform field service and repairs on customer forklift and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work independently driving a company provided service truck to customer locations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments.

Responsibilities

  • Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts.
  • Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments.
