Field Technician

RION Equipment is looking for a Field Technician to perform field service and repairs on customer forklift and material handling equipment. You will primarily be working independently driving a company-provided service truck to the customer’s place of operations, but you’ll always have the support of the entire RION Equipment team. Requirements
- Ability to perform field service and repairs on customer forklift and material handling equipment.
- Ability to work independently driving a company provided service truck to customer locations.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments.
Responsibilities
- Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts.
- Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
- Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments.
