About The Position

ERM is hiring Field Technicians to join our global consulting firm as part of our archaeology and cultural heritage team in Whitehorse/Mayo, YT. The successful candidate will work with our team to complete archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time, limited-term role for a duration of 3 months, renewable. Requirements

0-3 years of archaeological survey and impact assessment experience
Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain
Working knowledge of archaeological survey and impact assessment protocols
Ability to work 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation
Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

A Degree in Anthropology (with a focus in archaeology) or in Archaeology preferred
Applicants enrolled in a degree granting university who have completed a field school in archaeology are encouraged to apply
Prior archaeological field school experience a plus
