Field Technician - 2 Hours Weekly
About The Position
NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a team of Field Technicians in Fairview Heights, IL & St. Louis MO to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It’s straightforward work, it pays well, and you’re in charge of your own time. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with a rate of $27/hr, offering flexibility with approximately 2 hours of work weekly, depending on the route. The role involves maintaining water vending machines, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and functioning correctly. It is not a repair job; the focus is on cleaning, documentation, and reporting issues.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions.
- Attention to detail; ability to follow a checklist.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled visits.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, or janitorial work is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned stores to clean and disinfect the FreshPure machine inside and out.
- Take meter readings and log the data on the service report.
- Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit.
- Submit completed reports to the home office.
- Report any damage, mechanical issues, or unusual findings to the home office.
