About The Position

EchoStar is seeking Field Technicians to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers' homes. In this role, you will visit customers' homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home technology. You will also teach customers how to use their new tech and offer additional services when helpful. The position requires maintaining a clean work area and a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team. Our Technicians deliver TV and Smart Home solutions to millions of customers, leading the charge for a world-class customer experience by educating and connecting Americans with every home visit. This role is crucial as technicians are the backbone of the organization, ensuring an excellent customer experience, which has contributed to DISH being a six-time J.D. Power award winner for being #1 in Customer Satisfaction.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License: This position requires a valid driver’s license because driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential function of the job.
Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed; flexible to work shifts that might include evenings, weekends, or holidays
Climb ladders (up to 40 ft)
Lift up to 70 lbs
Must meet and maintain 335 lb weight limit
Customer Focus: Build trust and create a great experience
Problem-Solving: Tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
Determination: Work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
Adaptability: Handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, to include a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
