About The Position
The Field Technician services and manages field installations for participants and acts as a liaison for field locations, courts, and agencies within the designated geographic service area. The role provides local support and training to area courts and agencies and includes installing and deactivating technology devices, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining devices, documenting activity, and handling participant fee accounts.
Requirements
- Must have a good motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Must have an up-to-date driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in criminal justice or customer service is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and thorough customer service to participants, supervision officers, and senior court and county officials.
- Install and deactivate technology devices on monitored participants at offices or jails.
- Process calls with company personnel, referring agencies, and clients to troubleshoot equipment abnormalities.
- Maintain devices, typically by replacing them or adjusting strap size and fit.
- Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments with courts and agencies in the area.
- Document pertinent information electronically in the monitoring system database.
- Maintain the cleanliness of inactive equipment.
- Review participant fee accounts and process payments.
- Represent the company at local events or conferences when assigned.
- Provide local support and training to area courts and agencies.
