About The Position
National Water Services, LLC. (NWS) is seeking Field Technicians in Chicago, IL, to maintain their water vending machines located in retail stores. This role involves keeping the machines clean, stocked, and ensuring they are running correctly. It is described as straightforward work with good pay, offering flexibility and independence. Technicians will visit assigned stores to clean and disinfect machines, take meter readings, log data, photograph machine conditions, submit reports, and report any issues to the home office. This is not a repair job; the focus is on maintenance, documentation, and reporting.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions
- Attention to detail — you follow the checklist, every time
- You show up when you’re scheduled.

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect the water vending machine inside and out
- Take meter readings and log the data on your service report
- Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit
- Submit your completed report to the home office when you’re done
- Call in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusual
