About The Position

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a team of Field Technicians in WYNNEWOOD & PHILADELPHIA, PA to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It’s straightforward work, it pays well, and you’re in charge of your own time. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with a pay rate of $29/hr, covering WYNNEWOOD & PHILADELPHIA, PA. The role is ideal for individuals who prefer working independently, dislike desk jobs, and desire a consistent route. This is not a repair job; the technician's role is to ensure machines are clean, documented, and reported, flagging any mechanical issues for a Service Technician.

Requirements

• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions
• Attention to detail — you follow the checklist, every time
• You show up when you’re scheduled.

Nice To Haves

• No experience in water systems required.
• If you’ve done field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, janitorial work, or anything similar — you’ll hit the ground running.
• Self-starters who don’t need someone looking over their shoulder
• Detail-oriented — you notice things other people miss
• Reliable — your stores count on you showing up
• Good communicators — you keep the home office in the loop

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect the FreshPure machine inside and out
• Take meter readings and log the data on your service report
• Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit
• Submit your completed report to the home office when you’re done
• Call in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusual
