This position involves performing concrete testing such as slump, air content, and temperature testing, as well as casting cylinders. The role also includes preparing soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt in both laboratory and field settings. The Field Technician is responsible for adhering to the QA Manual and other applicable procedures. Excellent communication skills are essential for maintaining positive relationships with clients, customers, and coworkers. The position requires a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with scheduling, processing shipments, providing field site assistance, securing and transporting testing samples, observing and assisting with inspection of field activities, and supporting field team logistics by picking up and transporting equipment and samples, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. Domestic travel may be required up to 50% of the time.
