About The Position

We are looking for a Staff Field Technician to join our EST team in Hatfield! Under minimal supervision, provides technical support to engineers, on site or field, on a variety of complex technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats and analyzes technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports and drawings. Conducts tests and records data. Performs complex calculations and interprets results. Gathers, maintains, formats and analyzes technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports and drawings. Conducts tests and records data. Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies and tests various types of electrical, electronic and/or mechanical equipment and related devices using various test equipment. Understands and interprets general electrical & mechanical drawings. Applies general technical knowledge of electronic principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and solve problems. Builds, develops and maintains productive relationships with clients and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality technical service.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of field technician experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous in a similar industry is preferred.
  • Degree/diploma in Engineering (or a similar field) is preferred.
