About The Position

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, and electrical systems on high purity water systems. Conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers.

Requirements

  • Local travel required
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOT Medical card.
  • CDL not required, but will possibly be regulated under USDOT Hours of service requirements.

  • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Forms: Driver Disclosure and Release, Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement, FMCSA Certificate of Awareness, Driver Certificate of Violations, Driver Statement of On Duty Hours Road Test and Copy of Driver’s License, Copy of Medical Certificate
  • High purity water systems including softeners, carbon filters, lab systems and Reverse osmosis, including the electrical, mechanical components of all.
  • Work without direct supervision
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
  • Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
  • Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways

Nice To Haves

  • May have industry specific license(s)
  • Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
  • Clean driving record
  • Work experience preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of technical work experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
  • Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements
