About The Position

Cennox is seeking an enthusiastic Field Technician to join its expanding Field Services division. This role involves servicing customers by performing preventative maintenance, installation, determining issues with products, and training customers on the proper use of financial equipment throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas. Cennox is looking for passionate, experienced field professionals who are ready to grow with the company, possess exceptional customer service skills, and can thrive in a dynamic team culture. The position also includes being cross-trained to support other lines of business, specifically banking and retail.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with low voltage electronics, mechanical systems, and computer experience.
• Electro-mechanical skills.
• Ability to use basic hand tools including but not limited to multi-meter, voltmeter, volt-ohm meter.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps.
• Ability to learn through telephone training.
• Great communication/customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret/execute written instructions.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing.
• Reliable/insured vehicle.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift/move 50 or more pounds.
• Ability to stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
• Ability to work both indoors and outside in all-weather.
• Ability to sit/drive for extensive daily travel.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Sharp eyesight.
