As the Field Technician you will be responsible for soil sampling, which is an integral part of the SWAT process at Croptimistic. This is a temporary position that will run from August 31, 2026, through to October 30, 2026. The successful candidate will reside in Edmonton, AB or within a one hour radius.

Requirements

• Able to work independently
• High-level of integrity and commitment to providing unrivaled service
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to twist the upper body
• Basic mechanical knowledge and/or experience considered an asset
• Class 5 driver’s license (abstract may be requested)
• Must be willing to work overtime including Saturdays
• Able to travel, including overnight stays

Responsibilities

• Soil sample fields using SWAT MAPS, following GPS-referenced points
• Champion the brand
