Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s license
  • Passion for Environmental Safety
  • Tech Enthusiast: Direct experience working with hands-on technology is a plus.
  • Problem Solving skills

  • Attention to Detail
  • Physical Stamina: Technicians work outdoors & must have endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely.
  • Personal vehicle for daily work use (Technicians are eligible for mileage reimbursement)

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting, detecting, and preventing natural gas leaks
  • Using the latest innovative equipment
  • Performing small repairs on live gas lines
  • Leak survey/investigation
  • Working independently
  • Working outside in the fresh air, typically walking 5+ miles per day
  • Accurately detect gas leaks and quickly analyze data
  • Help navigate any natural gas incidents and use our training to implement the proper solution
  • Being professional & responsive to clients
  • Accurately relay findings and convey information
  • Being vigilant and staying focused while working
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
  • Carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment

  • Competitive Compensation: $19.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days.
