Field Technician - Columbus
About The Position
Allied Technical Services is seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Field Service Technicians. While pump industry experience is not required, it is a plus. We provide comprehensive training for individuals with backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, maintenance, farming, automotive, military, or other hands-on roles. In this position, you will work with pumps, hoses, piping systems, and equipment essential for municipal, industrial, and construction projects across Central Ohio. This is a hands-on career opportunity with paid training and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience using tools, equipment, or machinery
- Ability to work outdoors safely
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Pump industry experience
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, maintenance, farming, automotive, military, or another hands-on role
Responsibilities
- Set up pumps, hoses, and temporary piping systems at customer job sites
- Load and unload equipment
- Inspect and maintain pumps and related equipment
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and similar equipment (training available)
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Travel to job sites throughout Central Ohio
