About The Position

Sparus Holdings is seeking a Field Technician to join their team. This role involves working independently after training, utilizing modern tools and equipment to accurately detect gas leaks and analyze data. The position requires exploring the outdoors, typically walking 5+ miles per day, and playing a key role in the detection of natural gas leaks to protect the community. Technicians are the face of the company and must provide superb customer service, communicate findings accurately, and pay close attention to detail. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks effectively and safely, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day while carrying up to 20 lbs. of equipment. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma OR GED
• Valid, unexpired Driver’s license
• Personal vehicle for daily work use
• Passion for Environmental Safety
• Tech Enthusiast (experience working with hands-on technology is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Accurately detect gas leaks using the latest safety equipment.
• Quickly analyze data related to gas leaks.
• Work independently, demonstrating time management and problem-solving skills.
• Explore the outdoors, typically walking 5+ miles per day.
• Protect the community and prevent harm by detecting natural gas leaks.
• Navigate natural gas incidents and implement proper solutions.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service.

• Remain vigilant and focused while working to locate leaks.
• Perform tasks effectively and safely, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day.
• Carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment.
