About The Position

We are seeking a client-facing Field Technician to support a growing Managed Services Provider serving businesses throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with end users, and building strong relationships with clients. This is a work-from-home position when not on client sites, with onsite client visits expected approximately three days per week. The right person will be comfortable walking into different business environments, communicating clearly with non-technical users, and representing the company in a professional, helpful, and approachable way.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an MSP, IT support, field technician, desktop support, or helpdesk role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft 365, basic networking, printers, and business applications
  • Comfortable working with clients face-to-face
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to manage time well while moving between remote work and client sites
  • Professional, reliable, and organized
  • Must enjoy working with people and be comfortable supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations as needed
  • MSP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for MSP clients
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, networking issues, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
  • Visit client sites throughout Brooklyn and nearby areas as needed
  • Deliver excellent customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, and vendors
  • Document work performed, ticket updates, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior engineers when appropriate
  • Assist with workstation setups, user onboarding/offboarding, equipment deployments, and basic network support
  • Help maintain a positive, professional client experience during every interaction
