About The Position

As a Field Technician, you’ll visit customers’ homes to solve problems and introduce them to smart home technology. You’ll install and service DISH equipment and smart home products, teach customers how to use their technology, and offer additional services when helpful. You’ll maintain a clean work area and a professional attitude, working independently while staying connected with the team. The role includes paid training in installation and service procedures, smart home technology, and technician best practices. A company-provided van, tools, and uniforms are provided. Compensation is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license; driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential function.
Willingness to travel as needed and flexibility to work shifts that might include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Must meet and maintain a 335-pound weight limit.
Customer focus and ability to build trust and create a great experience.
Problem-solving ability to tackle a variety of challenges on the spot.
Determination to work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather.
Adaptability to handle changes and unexpected tasks.
Successful completion of a pre-employment screen, including a drug test, and an acceptable driving record.
