About The Position

Staff Field Technician We are looking for a Staff Field Technician to join out EST team in Hatfield! This position may include any aspect of product field support, including system hardware and software, medical or laboratory devices and equipment, and systems networking. Assists in the testing, moving, repair and adjustment of equipment problems associated with trouble reports and performs routine maintenance. Performs client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. Determines most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.

Requirements

Previous experience in production.
Willingness to travel.

Nice To Haves

Degree/diploma in Engineering (or a similar field) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists in the maintenance of site/field equipment and/or the installation.
Rearrangement and removal of equipment and associated wiring at the customer site or at the company location.
Assists in the testing, moving, repair and adjustment of equipment problems associated with trouble reports and performs routine maintenance.
Performs client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s).
Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
